It has been quite clear that some are more equal than others on tbe boards. The use off "asshole", "bitch", "cunt" and other words are all intended to be offensive as used in most the posts on tbis board, but some seem quite allowed, while others are apparently deemed "overly offensive".

Without clear explainations i csn o ly look at the data and make some inferences about what the difference is among those words. I can find two:

--some posters prefer the use of certain of those derogatory terms

--some of those words have a clear gender implication

Im not even sure what you're talking about. I was asked if it's ok to call a member a cunt. I said it depends on the context. For instance, if it's done tongue in cheek as an obvious joke then it's a gray area but we dont leave common sense at the door and would most likely not issue an infraction. If, on the other hand, someone says "shut the fuck up cunt" then it's clearly meant as a derogatory targeted insult and it's a violation.

No words like that are strictly forbidden perse, it's all about the context.

likewise, if someone says something general that's not directed towards any specific member and thus, by the narrow interpretation of the guidelines we usually use, falls under this thing we like to call freedom.
