When contacting a provider how do you respond if asked for your name?

Each companion has different screening requirements. It's your responsibility to comply with her policy or graciously fall back if you refuse to do so. A handle and a name are not at all the same thing and there isn't anything abnormal with a lady enforcing her policy. Originally Posted by Lena Duvall

It is our responsibility as providers to be clear about what we require up front.

But guys....seriously...ya gotta READ! LOL!!
I very recently contacted a provider by PM to setup an appointment. I did not hear back by the end of the day, so I texted the number given to set it up. The text response was "What is your name?" I gave my Eccie handle and that was it, but the response again was "What is your name?" This doesn't seem normal to me, as I haven't had that happen before. Any thoughts? All we're asking for is first name. If you're not comfortable using your real first name, pick a hobby name.that everyone will know you by.

Refusing to give a first name at all just seems weird to me and would put me on edge as well.
I don't see a big deal about telling a provider your FIRST name or if a guy is really worried go by a stage name...but stick to whatever name you provide from then on..

Now, it's totally different if a provider says..."I must have your First and Last name, DOB, SS #, employer, work email etc...then you can tell them to forget it or give the info if you're trying to get screened. Totally up to the guy to give or not to give whatever info the provider is requesting...
When screening i do ask for a name. And other requirements. If they dont want to participate they just never respond back. Now majority of them ive never had an issue. But yes my screening process is about my safety. But its not a big deal if you dont want to comply.
I always ask for a name so that way when I meet a gent I can say "Hey Alex, how are you?" And not "Hey LadiesMan21734"...

I already know what your handle is so why would I ask for that when it's right in front of me??

Just pick a name you wanna call yourself.

It is just plain weird to not have some kind of first name to call someone by.

Until ECCIE offers a bail bondsman or a service that can identify my dead body, I will always require a little bit more than a handle.
