If you think a tax break is not welfare then you are even dumber than I estimated. Then again since you do not even know what half the shit you type even means, you may mean something all together different then.

Let me give you an example of Corporate welfare. That effects me. I own a company. I have to pay taxes on everything I own and all the merchandise and supplies I have on the shelves. If a corporation wants to open a place next door they negotiate with the city to not have the pay property tax for a certain term. like 10 years or so. When the time is up, they renegotiate the terms. I know you enjoy jumping in on all the threads that spiral down into name calling, but leave the thinking to the rest of us.

So if you can read then you know what that means now. So when you go down to the store and buy your potted meat and Geritol, You benefit from them not paying taxes. So now who is on Welfare again? Originally Posted by MT Pockets

I guess what the analysis leaves out is the millions of people employed by these Corporations.

There should be a balance between what has become "Corporate Greed" and Polititians demagoguing voters on the lower end of the economic ladder just to buy votes.

We have not got there yet.

Those( politicians) that push Corporate Welfare are going after voters at the top just as they do for the lower spectrum .
By one standard we all are on welfare.

So is that why YOU and LUBE like the HEB parking lots over the Walmart parking lots ? Because Walmart ( a big backer of the lying liberals from a s far back as when ShrilLIARy was on their board when that broom driver was first, ahem, lady, ahem, of Arkansas ) gets LOTS of tax breaks when they build a new store in a city or town. No, fuckhead. Posting a list of companies doesn't prove any of them are receiving free government "handouts". You need to identify and describe (in your own words, not with a wikipedia link) any specific handouts in detail.

Wrong, dicklicker - a tax break is NOT "welfare"! Only in a lib-retarded rabbit hole, where up is down and down is up, would anyone think like that. A tax break merely means the government will confiscate LESS of your hard-earned money. Calling it "welfare" is akin to saying you are being generous to your wife if you only beat her 5 days a week instead of 7!

That's not corporate welfare, it's discriminatory taxation. I guess you're too stupid to attend hearings and sue the city for the same tax breaks the corporation obtained. But everyone knows you don't own a company, pockface. You couldn't manage your way out of a brown paper bag, let alone run a business.

Surely you're too smart to conflate lib-retarded semantics that seek to obfuscate and subvert the meaning of common economic terms with anything remotely "informative".

I always laugh when people make "Big Oil" and Corporations out to be villains. If you have a diversified 401K you are probable an owner in most if not all of these companies.

Just like when people bitched about BP paying a dividend! Not paying it did not hurt BP. It hurt all the share holders AKA OWNERS. Some of whom were probably going to use it for living expenses, collage tuition, food.

Not being able to make the connection that these large corps are owned ultimately by the general public is sad.

Do I get a break as in no taxes for 10 years no. Unless you are a heavy hitter and can leverage yourself by building just over the city or county line, You are not gonna get much help from the city. Now I do know who to have a lunch meeting with and how much to leave in a envelope on the table when needing a permit or CO approved. I prefer to be straight up in business though. I do not even know who "snichfuck" is but if you are so sure I do not own my own business, I bet we can figure out a wager worth my trouble.
