Hi Sarah - can assure you there is no animosity at all in West Texas or other Texas forums. Just because a of a single guy or a few guys - doesn't mean the rest are the same. Just one or two guys give the whole group a bad name - the 0.5 % of the guys giving the remaining 99.5% a bad name. Lubbock is not a party town like say Dallas. Loop 289 & the marsha sharp freeway areas are the places where there are restaurants and shopping centers. Alamo draft house is another place you can visit. But mostly it's restaurants and some shopping. Not a great nightlife city - don't know any good clubs worth visiting. And the strip club out here sucks and not in a good way lol ! Lubbock guys can chime in with more info for you!
