To the OP.. and as others have said..
You should've thought twice or talk to him before posting this..
If he has made you thousands and could possibly continue making you money in the long run, it was a bad idea to publicly complain..
You've perhaps lost that income now because of this.. not the smartest business decision IMO

If I book 90 I pay 90, if I have a problem that is on me.

Did I read it right that she has a 30 minute gap between appointments? Maybe TMI.

Well sadly his reply was not the nicest when it was brought up. Since I didn't say anything in person then it's my fault basically. I didn't count the money right in his face. I feel thats an insult to a regular client. But I guess I need to do things differently. I assumed yes he did leave a tip. He left. Counted the money. Only basic 30m fee. We all screw up here and there and a lot of us girls make the mistake of trusting guys and we pay for it. I'm sure the same goes for guys building a repor with girls, trusting them and then they get taken advantage of. There are 2 sides to every fence. I wouldn't expect a make up session... especially since I only visit and that's something long term he would have to commit to. But an apology and a tip would of made everything ok. I'm still giving him time to make this good... But if not... Then I think I will have to no see him. Sad because I liked him. But everything added together... No apology, changing after a firm commitment/promise & the rude response when it was brought up. Maybe a good client that's gone off the deep end and took advantage. How is one to even know what's truth or not ya know? I'll decide if I should post his handle in the ladies area by tomorrow... hopefully he will make it all right Originally Posted by apple aimee

Delete him from your contacts and press on. Sometimes you just have to realize some people are jerks etc. Moral of the story is he revealed his true colors to you. Cross him off your list is

If the gent was a regular I don't see why something couldn't be worked out in private.

Example: Take or give me the donation now & we play later.

I think you both could have handled this better.
I hope he enjoyed what should be his last visit with you. Originally Posted by CoverMe

All on the male. Book 90 minutes pay for 90 minutes, but, if there is going to be an issue and it is known before the actual event happens, discuss the issue at the get go, either pay up front and collect the remaining time later or pay up front and leave what would be an extraordinary tip.

As in the airline biz, an empty seat can never be sold once the craft departs the ramp.

Regular/schmegular shouldn't make a difference. A deal is a deal is a deal.

I do agree with comments above that it would have been been better perhaps not to air this in public first, but perhaps in the ladies area.

But, what's done is done, and whether the guy is well known and regarded here or not, he deserves a lump of coal from Hobby Claus this XXXmass!

= = = = =

Gents should always do the responsible thing lest many ladies (especially visitors in this instance) get the wrong impression of our community.

TRUST is a two way street!!!

CK... in reference to your comment, " a deal is a deal is a deal." This is an actual scenario: I have a one hr incall scheduled at a very specific time. Made the appointment the day before, contacted the provided the morning of the appointment to confirm, contact again to let her know I am on my way. All good up to that point. I get to the incall location text for apartment number and nothing for 15 minutes. After multiple texts she finally responds she is running late and could I give her 15 minutes. 15 minutes more pass and I text for apt no. Radio silence. I have no alternative plan and limited time to play, so I hold out. 50 minutes after scheduled time I give up and leave. Ten minutes later she texts giving me apartment no. I let her know I had left her area and had no time left to play. She's pissed and wants to know why I could not have waited a few minutes. It costs me out of pocket money to get playtime, so I am out that. There is the letdown from no pussy...blueballs! Travel, general inconvenience, etc., etc. Since a deal is a deal is a deal and the provider failed to maintain her end of the deal should she not owe me a one hour session plus reimbursement for my out of pocket expenses? We both know that will never happen! My only recourse is to out her and then get the usual feedback that even providers have rw problems that get in the way of things, and that I should suck it up and move on. It's just part of the game. I guess deals in the hobby should only be kept by the hobbyist, as you recommend in this instance. Where is the balance and equity in this? In the scenario I described the provider sold the seat on the plane you drew the analogy to, but she never got the plane to the gate. It has happened to us all, and, like myself, we just write it off as part of the game, as I recommended AA do in this instance.

One last thing: Have you ever recommended that the "ladies"
do the responsible thing lest the "gents" get the wrong impression of the local provider community?

The same rule should be applicable to the provider as well. There has been many instances where providers have wasted my time.
So after speaking to a couple provider friends and a male mod I have decided to gather other opinions on something that happened today.

As many of you know I have a full time career. I can only hobby every now and then and hardly get to travel. So like many other providers when I do get to play, I need to make the most of the time I have. Well I planned this trip to s.a. one of my regulars books to see me at 3:30pm. For 90mins. He books & confirms his appointment at 2:20pm. Which means I have no time to see anyone before him and I am now not open again until 5:30pm since he's booking 90mins. No problem. He's a regular I have no problem blocking off this much time out of my schedule for him because he is a regular. I turn away about 4 other gents due to now being booked. He says he is good for at least an hour NO MATTER what. But may do 90mins. He arrives at 3:20. At which time he also books a 30m apt at 8am for tomorrow. And confirms he is indeed going to do 90mins. Then he comes on up. He does 30mins. Pays for 30mins. Says something came up at work. No apology and leaves. Here is where I have a problem. I for one understand work issues come up. I have a full time career. However you JUST confirmed 90mins. Just minutes ago. You guaranteed at least an hour. But only paid for 30mins. I have never experienced anything like this before, anytime a client had to change last min or leave early he paid the full donation for what he booked... or at least tipped for the change. Due to the work issue I wasn't expecting the full 90m fee. I'm totally understanding. But a tip should of been provided... for the fact how much time I blocked off for this gent. For the fact he guaranteed a certain amount of time but confirmed he would do 90mins as he is walking up.

After talking to a few people I noticed a few different opinions. The ladies said the amount of time he booked should of been paid for. The mod said a tip for the sudden change & inconvenience should of been left. Both genders said I should post this In the ladies area to warn others about this gent. But instead of out right ruining someone's reputation... I decided to post here and get others opinions. Both ladies and gents. And hopefully this client will see the mess up and make right by it.

Let me be clear this was not a matter of him showing up and not wanting to see me. He's a regular. One of which I have seen numerous times. I believe this was a genuine work issue. But due to the fact that I blocked off so much time for him... hour before the appointment and 2 hour time frame for the 90m apt. I truly think a tip would of been the right thing to do here.

Sorry for being long winded I just wanted to be clear about the whole situation to get people's opinions. Originally Posted by apple aimee

It's tough enough for me to find someone who can work with my schedule to end up being " cock blocked " by a miser. Mebbe I can see you next time you are in town.
AA. While I agree with Freedom in this instance and would likely leave a tip, what drew my attention in your narrative is that all the providers felt it appropriate you be compensated for the time originally booked. Robexar accurately pointed out that a good long term business model often requires that you willingly give up money in the short run in order to profit more in the long run. It seems your provider friends are only looking at the here and now and not trying to accommodate what you state is a good client and his needs. If you wish to keep him as a client write this incident off as part of doing business, and if this happens again you may reconsider keeping him as a client. I am sure you have had to cancel an appointment with short notice and have kept a client waiting past the scheduled appointment time due to RW issues. When this happens do you ever consider compensating the client for time, and possibly money, lost as well as the inconvenience?
We both know the answer to that. Just something to think about in the future. Originally Posted by Xesaddict

By now, both parties are unhappy. If the lady is unhappy, she should never see this client again. she should knowingly let him spend his 1 and sometimes 2 visits with someone else. After all she did lose an hour of paid time. If the gentleman is unhappy , he should spend his money on another lady. Which he probably will. All differences are specific to the parties involved, but probably not a good idea to air those differences with others.

No argument from me if a gent -- with a confirmed appointment feels compelled to bail if the provider doesn't engage within a reasonable amount of time close to the appointed hour.

The gent's time especially during his working day is equally valuable!

As to what constitutes "reasonable waiting time" everyone has his/ her own definition.

Mine personally is 15 to 20 minutes, and pretty much flat for several reasons, but chiefly that anything longer indicates to me a lack of respect especially if no warning or response is given.

For another thing, any significant delay usually deflates my mood/libido, etc.

If I ain't gonna have fun, why stick around waiting and hoping!

Plenty of other opportunites out there on my TDL and if I can execute a Plan B or C I usually will do that and likely remove Plan A from the TDL until receiving a reasonable explanation and firm commitment.

I definitely feel for the ladies and usually will not file a formal NCNS report, but I will usually at least let the gents know the YL has some issues.

All of us -- guys and gals -- need to pay attention to scheduling issues!

I always schedule appointments for one hour. There have been a couple occasions where for whatever reason, Jr and Lefty just weren't feeling it and I was out the door 30 mins later. Never ever thought to even ask for a refund. I scheduled for that amount of time, an issue on my end has shorted that time, not the provider fault.

You go to the theater to see the latest blockbuster. Halfway through, work calls. I don't get a refund...
Just speaking for myself, if I booked 90 minutes, I'd pay for 90 minutes. Since it's too late for her to book the time with someone else, it's the right thing to do.
