You have a lot of emphasis on FR this season. Good FR, but FR. They should get better as you go along so I wouldn't jump ship yet. They are playing a tough early schedule so some losses will come. The Tennessee loss will be an exception. UConn this next month will be the BIG test. The TN loss was due to super-guard Brooke McCarty being injured and not playing up to her ability. See this last game against Florida State when she scored 24 and was 3 for 4 on 3 pointers. And she is only 5' 4" !!! Incredible player...sees the floor like no other. Then there is the rest of the team!!!!
By the way, while the Texas men should be pretty good, the Texas women are very good this year. Just made it up to #2 in the rankings and just lost a very tough game to an undefeated TENN team, far from a disgrace. Originally Posted by Old-T

Should have goes with men’s athletics and Texas hand and hand.As I said early-on, I expect Texas to make the NCAA tournament. Right now Joe Lunardi has Texas as an 8 seed, which is about right. Losing to Kansas, ranked 11th, by 6 points, even at home, with their leading scorer just back from an injury and playing just 9 minutes, will not hurt their standings.
They just aren’t that good..much like football. Originally Posted by Congratulations
