Providers and discounts

-Guy books with lady for 1 hour at $200 donation at her incall which is a hotel. She's offering a p411 discount of $25 for members. The room costs $100/night. Basic math show she leaves with $75 for the 1 hour.-

I'm thinking she has the room for 24 hours and sees more than one of us to make it worth her while...if offered the discount I make it up in the tip. And the tip goes in the envelope beforehand, not after the session. Originally Posted by Prolongus

1)Don't assume she is seeing more hobbyists that day to cover the hotel. I had to use hotels for a little while when I first came back before I could get back into the permanent incall I use. I had to book a hotel on the first session of the day I got, and if I didn't get any more calls that day too bad for me. I have even booked a hotel within an hour of the session time only to have the hobbyist cancel 15 minutes later, and then I didn't get another call that day...so yup a big bunch of money down the drain. There are a lot of ladies in Dallas, many of us are lower volume now because the ratio isn't so many hobbyists to providers like it was back in the day.

2)I like how you put the tip in with the envelope before the session. I get that sometimes and it really sets the tone for a session, especially if you are meeting the hobbyist for the first time. It really says something about a person when they go the extra mile and stick the tip in right away before the session. It makes me more at ease with the gentleman and what is funny is that it is not so much about the money but rather the way he approached the whole experience just knowing we were going to have a good time and that he already planned to have so much fun that he tips in advance. I get the feeling that he is a "glass half full" kind of person and the positive energy just flows through the session.

I think most guys would take the discount if offered. When someone offers a special in any industry, the discounted revenue is always more than the absent revenue. Originally Posted by rn_sweetie

Marla. Since we are on the subject of tips and discounts, I hesitate to tip in the envelope on a first visit because when done it may not be worthy of a tip or worse. I am still fairly new as a hobbiest. The second lady visited, I included the tip in the envelope plus gave her a box of Godiva. After "getting comfortable" she informed me that she was still with "aunt flo" and no activity would be happening down south. The encounter went downhill from there. (I did write a review). Since then I am very hesitant to include the tip in the envelope on a first visit but not sure about handing someone cash after the session. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

If the lady offers a discount, I take it. If the service is great, I leave something extra. There are a lot of things in life to quibble about; the lady's price is not one of them.
I would assume Marla is correct about making that assumption about hotels and multiple appointments. Texas seems to be the land of milk and honey. There seems to be an endless supply of providers here and we are still in a recession making disposable income less available than it used to be. For some reason, some men "no call no show" often. "Why" is beyond me. I will be on time for pussy more often than work. LOL.

I talked with one woman yesterday and she has gone to outcall only because of the dollars wasted sitting alone in the hotel. Since the company pays for my accommodations, I had her over seeing she had a good reputation and lots of reviews. She stayed over for a good while having a few drinks with me and said the original donation was good when I offered her a little more. I tucked a C-note in her back pocket when I kissed her goodbye anyway. What a delightful young woman!
Your sweet OP to thinck of us in that way....much appreciated!

I agree with Prolongus....When a provider gets an incall that cost 100 for 24hrs....you bet your ass she will see three gents that day at least...or its just not worth it....maybe more, maybe less depending on her quota for herself or her rates....point being, she should know what the fuck she is doing its not your concern baby....its our problem.

but again your sweet.....tip away
What a sweety the OP is!

I am new to Eccie but 5 yrs in porn/ sex work and I take my pussy traveling. So speaking on behalf of touring girls with specials....

I am VERY aware of cost for the plane ticket and 4-Star plus hotel rooms. Then there is LIFE with bought hair, nails, gym, tanning, trainer, insurance, rent, car, clothes, entertainment, investments, clothes, matching bra/panty/ garter sets, and advertising costs.

Offering a *Discount* before I arrive in town to see if my costs and profit goals will be met is SOOOOO important. My pre-booked rate is a 3rd of my agents rate and...(drumroll)...Im ok with that! ...and... so are the guys!

I take advantage of the sites "Weekly Plus/ "Groupon"...ect and get facial fraxil, detox, teeth whitening, hair cut and color, for near 75% off ....but TIP of the full amount on the original cost of the service. The spa's and salon's might feel pinched for a moment but realize they are winning LONG TERM clients that they would have NEVER met if it wasnt for offering the special rate. I see Discounts in the Adult Biz the same way I would never meet 99.99% of guys at the Higher Rates that the EastCoast is used to paying but the South.... not so much.

While in my hometown, I am LOW Volume to one client a week in-call, if that. And as they are screened, pay full rate, high end clients... I have them at my place. But if I had to get a hotel room, I would offer an Early Bird Special: "Booked before 10AM and get $50 / $75 off.. that way, you train guys to hop on board early so you can book your hotel room and have a complete line up of clients before you check into the room.

So bring on the Discounts Ladies and Guys... hop on board!

Grnhrn,

I totally know how you feel. "Screw me once, shame on you...screw me twice, shame on me!" Same concept as why we get the donation up front too!

You were more than justified to write a review too.

Tipping up front is definitely not required to have a rockin good time. Leaving the advertised special donation up front and then tipping after the session if you feel so inclined works too.

Usually when people visit me on a special and don't tip I just assume they simply can't afford it. No harm or hard feelings either, I know hobbying is a luxury and some of you guys have had to cut back on the hobby fund.

When you come back for a repeat visit, refer a fellow hobbyist to me, or write a good review that is as good of a tip as leaving extra cash!

Help,
A couple ladies referred to OP, who is that? I've seen it on other discussions but never figured out who it is. I can never find a handle that would stand for OP. If it's obvious who it is please remember that I'm still relatively new. Thanks,
TM

Marla, thanks for response. On a second visit I tip and put it in the envelope. If someone I have already seen has a special, I donate her regular rate. If a provider goes above and beyond what she would have to do, takes special effort to have a nice comfortable incall, doesn't closely watch the clock and really gets in to the session then she deserves the extra donation. If you can make a decent living without having to be all stressed out over funds or work til your exhausted then it's a win-win for everybody.

It is the amenities, the professional handling of her scheduling, and all the little touches that make her worth the extra money. Originally Posted by J.G. Wentworth

kicking texas marine in the groin lol Should I care about a provider expenses ? I say no. Just like should a provider care what I may thru for a donation? I also say no. What we all should care about is both sides having a great time at whatever price.

I don't see a provider based on their "specials". I see a provider based on their services, looks, and reviews. That said, if their price is out of line as it relates to their services, I won't see them. There are a few providers here who I will never see because I can't justify in my mind paying them X when I could pay someone else I like X - .5 or X - 1 and get the same service.

I am not concerned about providers offering discounts or regular rates. Although sometimes the discount allows me to see more then one provider every couple weeks I will not see them unless I find her attractive and of course good reviews.
