Well. This is a bit concerning for pretty much everyone here....

If H.R. 1865 becomes law, the FBI would be able to prosecute Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Craigslist, and myriad other sites where sex workers advertise and/or communicate with clients—even if the sexual exchange is only alluded to and never completed.*

^^^From the article.

1) imo, very difficult for the feds to prosecute a website that is hosted overseas

2) ditto to the above, very difficult for any U.S. LEO or court to serve a subpoena on an overseas website

Politicians file all sorts of bills and too often screw-loose bills get passed only to be tossed out by the courts.

Obviously if section 230 of the CDA is amended so it no longer protects a website like FB or BP users there would have some difficulty "connecting" but imo, no one is gonna shut down the entire internet over mere P activities.

Might make for some more creative ads.

So ...they're "trying" to stop " underage sex-trafficking" ...OK I'm good with that... THEN LEAVE THE PEOPLE 20 something and up ALONE!!!!!
Just using this as an excuse to go after sites that CONSENSUAL ADULTS use to get acquainted...
