Makes me wonder if season 4 would have been so outstanding if a season 5 renewal had been thought possible. I assume the original intent was probably to wrap up the Shadow War in season 4 and the Earth rebellion in season 5, but we got them both in season 4 and it was the most compelling season in my opinion. After that in season 5, the telepath revolt fizzled and some of the rest of the season seemed like it was just setting up the spinoff show, Crusade.
Never got around to seeing it in the original run, sadly (married life interfered); my aunt, a huge science fiction fan, was an avid B5 fan and loved it (at least during the earlier series run), so it's on my bucket list. FWIW, those of you who are fans may be happy to know that all 5 seasons are available for streaming (in the US only, though those of you in the know overseas will know how to get around that ) on Verizon's go90 streaming service.
