Quite the rash of out of town ads on BP

It IS really weird when you get a bunch of calls from an ad that you posted months ago on BP and NONE of them have references and they all say they're newbies. It's even crazier when their police radio goes off when they're on the phone with you. LMAO.

.....I will think long and hard before I ever post on BP again. Originally Posted by Alexxxis

The three ads listed here that were on BP are a big red flag.

People act like posting on BP is the kiss of death, yet you guys still go there to look and window shop. You think LE only posts ads on BP? Think again.

Rejecting a lady because she advertises on BP is your choice, but for some ladies its one of the few avenues they have to advertise on or the only avenue that they know about. Not everyone knows about ECCIE, ERAPS, P411, TER or the other sites. You think there's ghetto chicks on BP, there's ghetto chicks on all the sites.

Posting ads on ANY SITE has risks to it, you just have to be careful. Ladies need to screen like crazy, guys need to research the ladies on the different sites and ask questions. Stop letting your little head do all the thinking.

I still get most of my business from BP (and probably will until my name is more out there on other sites) and so I will continue to be on there until I get more business off of other sites... but PLEASE don't be afraid to screen me! It makes me feel better knowing that I'm spending my time with someone who wants to be just as safe as I do. Bottom line- don't rule us out, but it's great to stay cautious
Posting on BP doesn't make you a scam or LE. It doesn't mean you have no class or are desperate. A LOT of the reviews on this board come with a link to an ad that they responded to on BP.
I personally don't use BP very often because of the simple fact that I don't get enough verifiable clients who respond to my ads and it's just not worth the posting price for me.
If posting on BP works for you, then just continue doing so and don't worry about a few naysayers.
I'm not saying that the influx of ads on BP is an LE sting - it may very well be - but NASCAR, the Big XII tournament or other events that draw a large number of out-of-town visitors are also going to draw a number of out-of-town providers as well. If you have doubts do your research. Do searches on ECCIE or other boards; Google the number; make a request for info in the Requests and ISO forum. And if you still have doubts - don't visit. An out-of-town provider may be offering rates less than the normal for this area because it may be her normal rate for the area from which she originates, or she may upsell, or it may be a sting.

I always heed the advice I heard from long ago - if it's too good to be true, it probably is.
Fritz,

I should've added to my post that my response was in no way a response to the OP's post.

You're right, if its too good to be true, it probably is. Could those links to the ads that the OP posted be LE? Sure, but maybe they're not. No one truly knows until someone TOFTT.

You pretty much nailed it Fritz.

I would imagine majority or not....but how does one know which is or is not.

In old days, these type of ads or agency was the typical way.

I would never tell someone not to use them, but for me, this type of site or 411, combine
with networking is the safer way to go.

Just my opinion
