Huntsman is a very good guess. The guy is a goober and anyone in a real position to thwart Trump internally would never write the op-ed; the risk of getting outted by Trump's inquisition or the media is too great and then he/she wouldn't be in a position to "save the country". The person who wrote the op-ed knows he/she is likely to be discovered and is probably banking on a multimillion dollar book deal once he leaves. Huntsman doesn't need the money but he certainly wants to regain national relevance after his lame 2012 presidential bid.
