Good morning all, just logged back in and saw all these posts. I do have proof and have PM'd Bobby. Below is your video proof. I did not reference where it happened in the public post as not directly out the spa. But it is disconcerting to the fact it was quickly jumped to that I was lying because I only have one post. I'm not in Dallas very often, but I have participated in many of the meet and greets in Austin and San Antonio. I didn't post this for attention for me, but to bring attention to the theft.

As it happens, Peter (and all), I did try to PM the OP for more details immediately after he posted his, but got no response.

That mamasan, however, is well-known to many of us and to Blue for several years now. I found the allegation incredible as I can't believe she'd risk her job and do something so out of character for herself (and of course for Blue, where such things have never happened).

So when I was out hobbying today I went over there and took the occasion to talk to everyone involved (including the Emo, the owner, and Cici). They've obviously looked into it and are absolutely convinced unanimously based on all the evidence that it simply didn't happen. (If there were any hints that it did, the Emo would be out the door).

I don't know why this low-post one-review OP handle would say this, and his suspicious failure to respond to my PM from earlier today (he was online for a long time and I awaited his response for a long time) suggests he's unable and unwilling to back up the allegation with facts.

All of which leads me to be convinced this is a lie.

P.S. Peter, it's never too late to start looking on the bright side of life, for the good in people, and for opportunities to be kind and not insulting or rude (vs "old hag")!

I just realized that when Bobby Mann shows this video to Blue, that the unintended consequences is that anyone taking his phone into the room will probably be told to verify it’s turned off. They might even ban phones entirely. It’s obvious from how the video was set up that he intended to record his session.

While you may feel that it is creepy, or more, most places throw a towel over the phone if visible pointing anywhere in the room. Mine has an app that records physical movement when set, a theft deterrent. Handy when set, as you can see. Phones normally would not be able to record an hour of constant video. Besides, I feel the best part is normally on the TS.

I've apologized to Unico telephonically for concluding that he was lying yesterday. (I'd concluded that based on the best evidence I could collect at the time and having been unable to reach him to receive his evidence for the claim).

That video is very problematic, however, and makes me apologize to him here as well for concluding that he had lied. I admit that though I never thought this could happen at a place like Blue, I was wrong (though it doesn't make me question the honesty of the spa itself or its owners, just the Emo). As a frequent hobbyist for many years now, I strongly disagree with massagjunkie's assertion that 'those mamasans make a killing' or that this is any kind of a big problem generally.

I agree with Bestman that the Emo shouldn't generally be in the room (except perhaps to refresh towels) while the shower's occurring.

But the vid clearly shows her taking the customer's wallet out, which is absolutely unacceptable.

I have no connection to Blue or influence with them other than as a good customer, but have recommended that the Emo be fired and been told that will happen.

I also understand that the spa will start making available those little plastic bags some places use so that hobbyists use to convey their valuables to the shower room and back.

Finally, I've also told Unico and repeat here that although what the mamasan apparently did was illegal and wrong, I strongly believe (although I'm no expert) that what he did in secretly recording a session was also illegal and wrong.

It's an invasion of privacy (Cici's) and actionable as such (although I'm sure that she and the spa won't pursue that; in my view he did a service of a sort in exposing this behavior in this instance -- though one I hope won't be repeated).

The whole business is more than a little sordid, unfortunate, and dismaying.

Now excuse me, as I'm going to call and try to make an appointment to see Seven today . . .

I was at blue and after the session left my Tag Heuer Swiss automatic watch. ($2000). I came back the second day and mamasan promptly returned it to me.

It was my mistake that I just walked out leaving it the room and realized about missing watch only when I reached home. Called up mamasan and she kept it safely for me.
