"Upscale?"

It's actually meaningless, unless providers start using a voluntary scale system, including "discount", "mid-range" and other qualifying marketing terms.
Upscale.….Ladies that stand on scales and the weight measurement tend to point upwards....hence UPSCALE

I used to advertise as Upscale/VIP/etc. until I read a piece on advertising that basically said don't say it, show it

Agree with you =The way the provider does business can be an indication. Beauty, appearance and status can point towards upscale.[/QUOTE]

Help to avoid this pick better Providers by screening them !

Alot of providers use this word very loosely. Some are even camped out at Motel 6, Deluxe Inn, Budget Suites and other similar places. Yeah it's upscale from being homeless. Not to mention some of the apartment complexes and certain neighborhoods they operate in. It's just another BS marketing tactic along with words like "I'm the best you ever had", yeah right. "I will do what she won't", yeah right. "The wettest, the juiciest" "Mouth of the South" "Head Doctor" and all the common bs phrases they use Originally Posted by Mental AtrraXXXion

I think ladies use upscale/VIP etc as a way to say, I'm not a hood rat, not high volume. Maybe they are more selective, enjoy a more tailored experience, have excellent TCB and so on.

I usually say I have an upscale and discreet location. Meaning, I'm not in a hotel/no-tell or in a shady part of town.

Like most terms in this lifestyle, "upscale" is subjective

With today's information that can be found with a few key strokes from your mobile device, these words that were used just a few years back are not as used as much

Upscale, Classy, VIP and similar words, these are now considered the same as saying GPS! When you are considered " insert word here" you don't need to say it, it just shows

Yes Gina, you provide an upscale experience. Few who advertise that actually do.
Upscale...
We all girls sell exactly the same, in theory, but they ways we deliver the goods is what makes the difference...
Are you reliable, are you ready at time and place planned, you give good directions to your place so is not a nightmare finding your place?
Is your incall in a good neighborhood? We all know what a good neighborhood is...
Do you receive your clients wearing an attire he could take you to Nick and Sam's, Truluck's or Al Biernat's? Unless something else is requested.
Does you incall includes all the amenities: Full bar (whisky, vodka, rum, tequila, beer, wine red and white), fresh linens, mouthwash, fresh soap, etc...
And more important, the experience you deliver is something you both enjoy based on genuine chemistry? If it goes few minutes over, it doesn't matter because you never book clients back to back....
Talking about genuine, you never pretend to be someone you are not? Conversation just flows, and you are just being you, if he loves it good, if he doesn't so be it...
I dont know what I'm considered, honestly I do not care. I just wanna have fun every time I meet a friend, and when he leaves I am sure I made everything to make him happy and he can't wait to be back...
You just nailed it, Allegra.
Upscale=You can get better but cant pay more!! This term has been used so much by managers and hood rats that it has no meaning. It is the style, action, environment and performance that makes upscale. Most that use the term in their ads should say UpSELL instead of Upscale.

Another thing is that these words VIP, upscale, classy mostly have been abused by hood rats. Most would come to the hobby using those words to describe themselves while acting ghetto and even threatening to out members. There's a few of those hood rats still posting here occasionally as if nothing ever happened
^^^. You are correct. It shocks me.
