Nobody said anything about not screening. There is a whole list of other ways to screen.
References have been a sore point before, but now, it's possibly quite a problem going forward. And making a list of actively working ladies, that can be accessed, is not smart, in the upcoming environment. And for those that rely on references for screening, may not be able to screen in the near future with that. Which means they aren't going to see you. We've been talking about prescreening for a while, maybe some of this is more than just nagging, to get it done now in advance.
