Beck is Coming to DFW - To Live

he's still a turd. no matter where he lives. maybe if he wasn't such a hate-spewing fact-challenged piece of shit, he wouldn't get the same treatment when he 'goes out'. Originally Posted by Juan Pablo de Marco

Ask yourself that.

"What difference does it make", when Beck syas what he says? Does it hurt you? No? Then why do you care so much?

Next time you decide to "hate", ask yourself, "what difference does it make". The heart you save might be yours.

Well, chit! Why doesn't he just share some studio space with TBN over on 183? He's just not very smart - obviously.

It's also no surprise that gooneybird would be coming here. It's the old home of the John Burch Society as well as other assorted right-wang nuts, bolts and fruitcakes - he'll blend right in.

TallGuy6, lol, dude - that's funny. You must have never heard Beck's well reasoned and coherently proffered "educational lectures." Of course, Beck's ECCIE handle or email addy is probably harder to come up with than JPdM's. It seems your missle are a tad bit misguided.

I love this guy. He has the guts to do what he thinks is right when everyone around him is being so cruel. I'm THRILLED he's coming here. That's better than winning the lottery.

You guys can say what you like about me liking him and anything you could want about him. I'm not afraid anymore. This is the coolest fucking feeling I've ever had. I'm literally totally OK with what ever you say next.

Welcome Glenn, even if I'm apart of something here in the hobby that is totally not OK in your world, I'm so glad you're here. There's no one that will stand up for what they believe like I've seen you do. I was at 8/28 and it changed my life. It was the start of something wonderful in me. I saw what you did for that kid that no one else saw. It was beautiful. For every one person that lies about something you've said and bashes you into the ground, there are 10 others that would march into hell with you. I believe in what you're doing with Israel and if I didn't HAVE to be stateside late August, I'd be in Israel in Restoring courage.

I've looked up a ton of the stuff he's said guys, and I've not found anything of serious consequence to be wrong. He WAS mistaken on saying Obama was the only president to not use a Bible, but there were 2 others. But for pure history knowledge, I bet I could beat most of you with just what I've learned this last 2 years.

One more side note for you progressives that like to dog this guy.... The ONLY reason I even know who Glenn Beck is.... MSNBC was DOGGING the crap out of this guy they called Glenn Beck. I just HAD to know who they were so worked up over. So thankyou guys. The hate filled words meant to cut this guy down, gained him about 38 new fans through me alone. Originally Posted by LovingKayla

I too pay attention, and in my opinion Beck is a mental lightweight who has built a platform based on misinformation and intolerance. He's an entertainer who knows how to play to the kind of crowd he attracts.

All my opinion, of course.

At least in Texas; he can easily get a CHL to ward off the likes of Ms. Pisticelli

Who appears to be another dumb ass liberal...can you imagine being so stupid as to use your Twitter account to tell a BFF that you are going to assault Beck and then do it !

More proof that it is the un-hinged left who are prone to violence in their hatred of patriotic Americans.

Sorry Chainsaw but you might want to do some fact checking on this cunt who you seem to be defending. Apparently the cunt has a twitter account and just like WEINER got busted, this cunt gets busted for what she was saying leading up to the wine spillage and another Tweet mentions that one of her friends suggests that she "accidently spill something on him" and also kick him in the mouth.

Sorry but that CUNT needs to understand that her tweets, just like they did for WEINER, will show what she was REALLY up to that evening. Originally Posted by LazurusLong

You on the other hand used your (self proclaimed) superior intellectual power and apparently extremely limited vocabulary to attack someone who despite her youth seems to share many of your qualities.

"...likes to think of (him) herself as a member of the creative underclass. In between panic attacks and espresso-fueled internet benders (he) she likes to write short stories and also sometimes poetry..."

I can only imagine the jealousy you feel as she's gained a bit of notoriety and all you have to offer to assuage your pain is a profanity filled rant.

Would it be appropriate to use the same terminology to describe your obvious heroines Michelle Bachman or Sarah Palin? I wouldn't do it, but then again, I don't have the high intellectual abilities that you apparently do.

I was thinking about this on the way to work today and I wanted to add a thought for both sides here.

This is a very black and white issue. Each side believes they are correct come hell or high water. What makes America great is the fact we get to do that without killing each other. I'm AOK with you believing anything you choose. It's not my place to call names or make fun of (to your face or in public) what you believe. I found something worse than a progressive and that's a non voter. AT least you guys that BELIEVE in something are willing to stand up for it.

I've tried so hard to see the democrat way. For example, I worked diligently to like Hillary. I really did. She's done some great things in her life but when I heard her say she admired Margret Sanger, my effort ended. For anyone that doesn't know, Margret Sanger is the founder of planned parenthood. From her own mouth, she said abortion was meant to exterminate the black population. FROM HER OWN MOUTH.

You all know I'm intensely pro-life. Margret Sanger was an enemy to every unborn child that will ever be conceived. This a perfect example of something I believe that will never be shaken. Abortion is wrong. The mother of Abortion is not on my "to be admired list" and any politician that openly says they admire her is someone I will work to dethrone till my eyes pop out and my fingers bleed.... Well, at the very least I won't vote for one single person around her or that's influenced by her.

Something that we can openly debate without hurtful back and forths would be the truth.

Find something of actual consequence that beck has said that you believe is a lie and let's find out. Really. Something that really makes a difference.... The truth has no agenda and this could be extremely educational for both sides. If I'm wrong about something and you guys can prove it, I will of course tip my hat. I believe in the truth. No name calling, no hateful remarks, just pure truth.

I actually appreciate how nice you guys have been thus far.

Shoot, you had me all interested thinking you meant the musician. Couldn't understand why all the hate on him at first. Sure, sometimes we all want to slug the guy with the harmonica, but the feeling usually passes.

Sadly, I probably wouldn't have harassed him. Despite the fact that he deserves it, I wouldn't have done it, in all likelihood. But I've come to believe that you fight fire with fire and that progressives should use the same tactics as their conservative adversaries. So he deserved every ounce of it and more.

My real problem with Beck is just that he harshes my serenity.

My political opinions are all over the place. I don't fit comfortably into any one party, which makes voting challenging.

Frankly, from what I've seen of Beck, he's so full of bile and vituperation, I haven't been able to sit still to listen to what he has to say, to see how much I agree.

Judging from the responses on this thread, I'd say it's probably contagious, too.

"The Dude: Yeah, well. The Dude abides.
The Stranger: The Dude abides. I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners. Shoosh. I sure hope he makes the finals. "
TTH: Can you reference an instance in which a liberal talk show host was assaulted by conservatives in the manner Beck was in public ?

And why we are on the subject; can you tell me what liberal columnists have ever been shouted down at a University or college speech? Or liberal authors who have to have bodyguards when they speak at Universities (other than the authors who make statements about Islam and receive death threats)?

Universities tend to be places of enlightenment, where open minds go to learn. When stupidity, racism, or other clear signs of intellectual toxicity lands in places like these in the form of Beck or his ilk, it's not likely to be welcomed... and I for one think that's a good thing.

Does anyone really believe that what Ward Churchhill was teaching was enlightenment?

On the evening of June 18, 1984, Berg was fatally shot in the driveway of his Denver town home by members of the white nationalist group, The Order. He died immediately.
