I say walk up to her, point at her with wide eyes and open mouth like Donald Sutherland at the end of 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and loudly say "Why are you stalking me!!!!" The write a review about it.

Take that chance, like when you have to fart real bad but you don't know if it's going to be air or a shart but you just let her rip and accept the consequences.

Maybe I just haven't had my coffee yet, but I can't fathom why anyone would even consider asking this question. Originally Posted by Sir Lancehernot

So how would you have handled that ?

Only problem, your definition of slight may just be a tad different from someone else's. It kinda depends on the situation too. I would prefer to not be smiled at while out with my kids but if I'm at a concert, maybe. That's why I say just ignore. Too many variables Originally Posted by Laura Lynn

Again, no one would care or be paying attention to notice two people who may or may not know each other making a flicker of eye contact and a non verbal communication gesture.

If some of you want to walk around in a permanent state of paranoia, so be it.

Don’t ignore them unless you would ignore a stranger in the same position. Likewise, don’t acknowledge them unless you would acknowledge a stranger in the same situation. In other words, react as if you’d never met the person before. You don’t know who is watching, no matter how careful you try.

personally, I like the leg humping response . But I suspect it'll get us all in trouble. LOL

I wouldn't engage. I would send a text later stating how they were looking so good at HEB.

There are too many variables but regardless of who winked first just keep it at that and move on. Common sense is important but nobody’s going to notice or give a shit that two [seemingly normal] people just winked, cracked smiles, or raised eye brows at each other...
