And given that we have an egomaniac for president you know he's gonna want everybody to know if the TSA did something to stop a major attack just so he can take credit and say it's due to his great leadership.
You surely do not know this to be true. Just because nothing has been shared with the public doesn't mean it's not happening.
By the way, every single year the TSA confiscated hundreds if not thousands of weapons including loaded firearms and explosive devices with people trying to board commercial aircraft. So your point is???
I highly disagree with your statement. Originally Posted by Mental AtrraXXXion

TSA has been known to molest old ladies in wheelchairs, handicapped folks with the urine bag and then humiliate them by making those folks remove their bags attachments from their bodies and in the process spilling the contents of the bags all over the floor in front of all the other travelers going through security.
2/3 of the time the TSA screeners (not they are not cops, they have no law enforcement licenses nor are they Federal agents, and legally they don't have the power to arrest you more than a Walmart clerk does but they all think they are cops) are not even familiar with the rules they are hired to enforce.
They have made travelers missed their flights by taking them to interrogation room and calling the police and the FBI to interrogate them for hours over items found in their checked in luggage that are as harmless and trivial as a nail clippers which by the way is on the TSA approved list of items you can have in your carry on luggage.
Most of the folks that work for the TSA as screeners wouldn't even make it flipping burgers at McDonald's but they can get a job supposedly protecting our airports from terrorists.
Now they are even talking about giving them guns! Someone is going to get shot if they don't take their shoes off quick enough or raise their hands up when they go through the microwave scanner.
Recently the Federal Court has ruled travelers can't no longer sue the TSA for abuse so the TSA now has carte blanche to do anything to you and they don't need a reason to hold you, make you miss your flight, make you leave the airport and tell you to come back tomorrow for your flight or put you on the no Fly List.
10 of 1000 of U.S. Citizens with no criminal records, not on any terrorist watch list, are on the No Fly list and are never given the reason why they are on it. Most of them do not know about it until the go to the airport and they get a boarding pass with extra screening and a code printed on them. Then when they arrive at the checkpoint, they are told they are not allowed to fly because they are on the No Fly list.
Any attempt to contact the TSA and DHS to find out why you are on the list is met with vague answers and double talk and even if you get an attorney to find out for you, the process can take months and sometime years.
There are U.S. citizens who traveled abroad and are not stuck outside the USA because on their attempt to fly back, they are told by security at the aiport of another country that the USA have put them on a No Fly list and that they are barred from entering the USA and these are U.S. Citizens.
Also Federal courts has ruled that any traveler including U.S. Citizens coming into the USA are subject to have all their electronic devices: cell phones, tablets, laptop, etc etc seized without a warrant by the Customs and Border agents at the airport custom and have all the contents of those devices downloaded by the government into their computers again without a warrant and without any reasonable suspicion that you have committed any crimes while abroad.
Constitution? Fourth Amendment against unreasonable search and seizures? They don't care and they will tell you it doesn't apply.
You don't believe me, Google It.
If you still think we are living in the land of the free, the same good old USA that our ancestors and founders fought the British to gain our freedom, you are solely mistaken.
