Not only that, Collin Powell himself said during the UN committee hearing about deploying to Iraq afterwards was one of his biggest regrets. He knew his hand got forced because the evidence provided was bad. There.were no WMDs, nor chemical agents. That caused so much resentment against the U.S which prompted so much more terrorist acts against not only the West, but the world in general.
