The cuban stocking is what I believe you are referring to. They have different variations, some have bows and not, but all of them have the vertical strip to the back. There are other brands out there, but Leg Avenue is the main one and they have plenty of different variations of stockings or thigh highs. You don't have to get them overseas, some of the variations although you will have to.

Most online lingerie stores have them or the local Electronic Boutique and I think Spencer Gifts has them. Victoria's Secret and Fredrick's of Hollywood has the plain stockings & wedding stockings.

I am not a big fan of the fishnets either, don't mind seeing them, but I prefer to see nylons anyday over fishnets.

As Shea pointed out, the stockings do come down while playing, seen that happen to dancers wearing stockings after giving a guy a lap dance. I think the knee highs/thigh highs would probably stay on better.
