Don't get me wrong. Hydro Power is a great thing, but you still have to account for the impact on the environment.

The Colorado River is our best example of the extremes. From Glenn Canyon to the Gulf, it is dammed. By the time it reaches it's delta, it is little more than a drainage ditch.
