Some areas, such as worlds of fun, have a worse reputation then others.
Overland Park had a rep a few years ago for LEO stings. That 'may' have changed.
The Plaza seems to be a bit more upscale except for one or two hotels with a sketchy rep.

Ive met several ladies at a nice airport hotel the night before flying out. I have found if you select a nice establishment, and pass screening, many are eager to visit. Its an easy drive up 29 where the nicer hotels are at.

I preper the larger hotels, yes, more pricey, but easier for the provider to go unnoticed to my room.
