Before the Internet, this would've happened, we'd see it on tv, say, "oh. That's too bad" and not think about it any deeper. Now: we all gotta hyper examine it.

A person died. That sucks.

I seriously thought she died back in 2008. BTW, she may have died at the same age as those other artists but she was NOT in their class.

She had a great, old, decadent, and sultry voice. Too bad for her however that her tumultuous life fueled that passion in her voice. Listening to her music, the songs may not be that strong, but her voice has a very lived in feeling. Perhaps her voice showed her age in dog years and she lived out her years here.

That's what I'd like to believe, but truth is she left too soon by ravaging her body with chemicals. I hope that she finally found the peace that she was obviously seeking but never found here.

She shoulda gone to rehab
I say yeah, yeah yeah...
i have conflicting sides with this topic...

on one hand, i feel bad for her (just a little).. she was obviously unstable.. i'm sure the pressures of hollywood and fame get to most people but those who struggle with addiction have to hide it so much more simply because theyre always being followed around and in the press and spotlight. she TRIED to get clean.. she didnt SUCCEED but maybe that was her way of reaching out for help- that first initial step. maybe she didnt have a good enough support system to boost her up and help her finish her program. whenever she failed to give a good show (like the last few she put on), who was there to tell her not to go on stage because she was too drunk?? did her manager/stage coach/family/friends/band, etc not realize the state she was in?? i know it sounds enabling, but under certain circumstances some cry out for help and every one sees it as them just being careless overprivileged druggies ...
can u honestly say that u dont feel an ounce of compassion for a YOUNG 27 year old AMAZING singer who was simply lost and couldnt find her way by herself? ive been seeing a lot of critism and things like "she deserved it, she had it coming, etc" but does ANYONE DESERVE to be suffering, end their life, then be criticized and spoken ill of? i know she had her dark days but underneath it all she had amazing talent and im sure she was a great person before the drugs and fame got to her.
NOW ON THE OTHERR HAND...
i see where some are coming from when they say only she could have saved herself, and that it was her own fault that brought her demise. i mean, she had been getting a lot of negative attention recently, and didnt make it any better by showing up drunk and disoriented and unable to sing at a concert, or the fact that her stints in rehab are a waste of time and money.
i didnt listen to her music much, but i did like her song "rehab", and i hope everyone just lets her rest in peace. shes gone now, but her music's not, so just enjoy it if ur a fan, and if not, just move along. shes dead so no need to dwell on how f*cked up she was
uh, thanks, I think

Bitch was crazy and thank god she died before she reproduced.

How's that for not dwelling on how fucked up she was?
alot of people were upset that she didnt get more sympathy in death... she lived her life the way she wanted to. she died happy and high more than likely. she made great music, but her career died way before she did. God Bless.
