Not transferable and very unlikely to get away with doubling as the other guy. Between door girl, waitresses and manager, someone will get curious for having never saw you before .
Been on the management side of this question (elsewhere) and:
Not transferable and the card is easily verifiable to original issuee.
Note that it's not the card, it's the actual membership that counts.
Nowadays a simple scanner at door hooked into electronic records is standard to check issued cards.
At post 11, that poster is well aware that his DL is on file (insert happy customer spends $ comment "HC$")
At post 6, yes cards are turned off if not a frequent flyer to prevent use by others, but yes can be turned back on (HC$)
Post 4, yeah that will get a bouncer interested in ....
At post 5 and post 2, yup, dead cards reissued or turned back on upon verification (HC$)
At post 16, it's not the door gal you need to be worried about, it's the guy that looks like a customer that's taller than most, is talking to but not tipping the gals, and keeps checking his handheld.
Depending on the place, membership cards usually get info texts, discounts, access to other areas, and omg, sometimes work at other places.
Last, of course they can be revoked. Break any of the house rules and it's toast.
So you don't think that trying to sell someone elses VIP card knowing the end user may not be able to use it.......is dishonest? Everyone that has posted here has said it's a bad idea and why it's a bad idea.
Your friend that owns the card KNOWS it's a bad idea for whoever buys the card. So you think it's an OK thing to do?
