nobody ever seems to pay for violating policies.Most times, violation of policies, depending on the policy, includes termination. He's already been fired. I don't know if his pension is at risk. So I doubt little can be done unless there's a law involved or already stated punitive measures.

Why do you think the report would be inaccurate? Comey has already admitted memorializing confidential talks with the President and giving them to a source that had a very shaky govt position.
