And I don't even believe that is the goal... most of the site like this one is mutual hobby based (your average Joe & Jane) the human trafficking s*** is something entirely different and beyond 95% of us. I imagine human trafficking is not advertised so easily, it's like a secret society. And I truly believe it's the obscenely rich & powerful who are into all that. So why crack down on online sites likes these or other with stings? So they can look busy, look like there doing something productive.

I agree with you, and like you said, why crack down on online sites like these and others is like you said, to make it look like they are doing something and putting the blame on trafficking on sites like this, but I believe there is also this puritanical root behind this as well. That sex and intimacy is bad. If something feels good such as this then don't do it. With lots of scare tactics such as std's, pregnancies, drug users, etc.

One can be intimate with someone and be involved sexually and not be a drug user, etc. They just lump the good individuals with bad ones and say "it's all bad and they're all bad people" which is bs.
