She got Ten years. There's no truth in sentencing. She'll do two years in the general population, because of good behavior she'll serve three years as a Trustee then get paroled and serve the remaining five on probation.

The jury made up for the murder conviction with a light sentence of 10 years. She can be paroled in 5 years. If that happens she will be 36 when she gets out. You got ladies in Dallas who are in still in the hobby at 70 plus years old.

After I dug deeper , she was guilty of murder. She had made up her mind to kill him/her before entering the apartment that she thought was hers. She admitted that. It was not a split second decision.

I originally thought she entered and made a split second decision.

Seems to me the jury got it right on both the charge and penalty.
