Choctaw Casino, just over the border in Oklahoma, closed down last Monday. Per one of their employees, they'll be down at least two weeks and they're paying all of their employees their full salary for the time the casino is closed. Both hotel towers are closed as well, nothing open but the casino gas stations.
I say they are going too far. I need to play Hannah And Heidi's BierHaus and I need to schnell!!!! YOU TOOK THIS FROM ME COVID 19......YOU HEAR ME?

That is crazy they kept them open that long. Indian casinos don’t give a fuck. Lol

The wife and I flew to vegas and back on the last weekend before all this took affect (March 7/8). Hotels were at 25% then. Casino floors were more empty but the Palazzo/Venetian were busy floors. The Dispensaries were doing good business too. We went their to buy and bring back some... along with a couple of grand we won on the floor. Couldn't beat the flights $69 and the room $59 rates!
We always go for the 1st weekend of March Masness, so... yeah that was great. Some dispensaries would be very helpful right now

Always get free rooms in Vegas at TI. Used to get free meals too but they have getting cheap on that recently. I don’t eat at the casinos anyways. Too many great places to eat in Vegas. The flights are cheap too. Vegas is always one of the cheapest vacations you can have as long as you don’t lose your ass gambling.
Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, coronaviruses cause respiratory tract infections that are typically mild, such as the common cold, though rarer forms such as SARS, MERS, and COVID-19 can be lethal. Symptoms vary in other species: in chickens, they cause an upper respiratory tract disease, while in cows and pigs they cause diarrhea. There are yet to be vaccines or antiviral drugs to prevent or treat human coronavirus infections.

Coronaviruses comprise the subfamily Orthocoronavirinae, in the family Coronaviridae, order Nidovirales, and realm Riboviria.[5][6] They are enveloped viruses with a positive-sense single-stranded RNA genome and a nucleocapsid of helical symmetry. The genome size of coronaviruses ranges from approximately 27 to 34 kilobases, the largest among known RNA viruses.[7] The name coronavirus is derived from the Latin corona, meaning "crown" or "halo", which refers to the characteristic appearance reminiscent of a crown or a solar corona around the virions (virus particles) when viewed under two-dimensional transmission electron microscopy, due to the surface covering in club-shaped protein spikes. Choctaw and Winstar are going to be back open 05/01. I hear stories that they MIGHT be going to he machine poker tables. No chips, no cards. All done on a tiny screen in front ot you for your card, your money and what you want to bet. All shows on a bigger screen in the middle of the table for flop, turn and river and including pot size

They tried an early version of that at Winstar probably 6-7 years ago. It didn't last long for a number of reasons. But I'm sure they could fix those problems quickly. other than the upfront cost, think of the benefits from the casino viewpoint. NO more buying cards, no more buying chips.

I played the original games like that and a couple of the biggest problems was keeping the game going (time) but they could fix that by having a dealer at the table for control and floor questions. Anyway - it will be interesting. While it makes good sense not to have to touch the cards and chips that other nasty bastards have coughed on, spit on, etc, one of the drawback to the chipless tables is the players didn't have any chips to riffle during all the damn down time. I actually bought $20 worth of chips when I was playing at those tables just so I could play with the chips.

I just left Daiso in Carrollton, I took notice when the Cashier handed my change back on a small platter.. I guess they want to appear like they are taking Corona seriously. Originally Posted by Chung Tran
