I don't think there are "porn stars" that have a cultural presence outside the industry any more. Not like stars who are household names and recognizable in cameos in mainstream movies (like Nina Hartley in Boogie Nights or Traci Lords in Cry-Baby). Probably the closest we have right now would be Sasha Grey or Mia Khalifa, both of whom are known for their politics or scandals as much as their porn.

On the other hand, people who are into porn know who the stars are and can name them.
