Shelter at place order coming...

Yes, the draft of the order is out.
Reading through it, its amusing how many exemptions there are.
Seriously. To the point if being unenforceable. Most of my business acquaintances clearly fall into one or more of the various exemptions.
Also, amusing is that the KC mayor has zero authority over the several smaller municipalities surrounded by Kansas City, such as Grandview, Gladstone, etc.
The newsies mention that the order goes active Tuesday.

Its the Core 4 in KC, which includes everyone. Jackson county, KCK Unified, KCMO, and Johnson county.

I sure as shit wouldn't want to be with my family for a two week vacation, let alone in a house with them 24/7. Which is why I live on the other side of the country from them.

I know I am not the only one in that position as I saw people at work yesterday fighting with the boss to be able to come in a few times a week for "people time" instead of taking a free two-week paid vacation. Originally Posted by Enchanterlingum

Compounded with the thought of their money depleting ya folks about to just kill themselves
I don't think what y'all understand is there's more than health than just physical health mental health is a factor as well and with all these people out of work you best believe they're not going to be well

in some cases mental health is even more important than physical health because it will affect your physical health eventually

so if people are getting to the point to where they cannot pay their bills you best believe their health will be affected

and with mental health taking a hit years ago these people are not going to be able to get the help they need

https://www.kmbc.com/article/stay-at...esday/31854990 this starts on Tuesday. I dont suppose escorts are considered essential to provide out call services. Im sure all the women here have vast savings cause of there smarts...And of course they will all receive checks soon because you have filed your taxes for the last few years as required to be eligible.
In that order is says you can also see your family and close associates there's many loopholes

i agree with you Sienna91. Mental health aka keeping it together with all the bad news is key

I was saying the same thing to a friend yesterday suicide is going to go off the charts. Violence will rise & cops are most likely only going on emergency calls so the streets will get worse. Yes providers are essential to ones health 😁

The order was necessary, Lucas said, to reduce activity in the city so that the rate of infection can be controlled. Violations will be considered misdemeanor offenses that carry a fine of $500 and up to 6 months in jail.
