Remember how close the 2016 election was. 5-7 states will decide the 2020 election Biden currently leads in Michigan polls. The polls in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, NC, Florida, and Ohio, all states that Trump won in 2016, are all within the margin of error. Trump is ahead in some polls, Biden is ahead in some polls. The only state that seems to be in jeopardy that Clinton won in 2016 is NH.

So much depends on how the voters in this country view Trump regarding his actions on the coronavirus. The country is about to go into a recession. Doubtful there will be much recovery prior to November. Prior to the recent collapse of the economy, Trump supporters on this forum said voters simply had to ask themselves whether they were better off than they were prior to Trump's election. Most would answer "yes", which was a definite positive for Trump. Now it is likely that answer will be "no". Will voters hold Trump accountable? That is unknown at this point in time.
