BP Alternative

wait so is this free or not? because I rather not have to deal with going to a page, spending time to write an ad to find I need to give out my credit card and be charged for what was supposed to be free?!?

And 10$.....yeah backpage may not be safe/legit deal with hagglers but isn't it a few bucks to post an ad?
BrookeButtons,

Please review our pricing located here.

Premiere categories such as the escorts category are not free as we do not have any other banners or advertising that would otherwise clutter the site or distract users from finding you.

We feel that we are competitively priced given our feature set. BP falls between $5-12 depending upon the city that you post in and your repost rate. CL used to charge $10. CityVibe charges $2 for ever week that your post is live. AdultSearch costs you $3 per week to repost. Their premiere ads cost $25 for 1 month.

There should be no surprises when creating a new post. Right at the top of the new post screen we inform you if there is a posting fee for that category.

But since we are new, we are offering discount codes so you can post for free, regardless of which upgrades you choose or which visibility or categories you select! Simply use this discount code:

eccie0811

Its a simple and fairly painless posting process, and if it helps drive even a small amount of customers in your direction, the price point should be worth it. It is even more of a value right now with your our free discount code.
There is no traffic on your site..... how is it going to drive out a small amount of customers to me? I'll stay away... smells fishy and if something smells fishy normally it is fishy.
Yea... we're new... just launched a less than 30 days ago. We are trying to make the site better and will continue to improve upon the site as well as its traffic of course. We are growing steadily each week. It will take time. Its a free post right now. But if you need more traffic in order to post, come back and see us again later.

We also understand that our service is not for everyone, so thanks for checking out the site and providing feedback.

I have met so many people, at eccie, other sites, and in person, who search for new venues to explore for information on the adult industry.

I list at least a link back to my website just about everywhere I can find. I find the more I advertise with links back to my dot com, the better reputation I maintain, and the more accessible and visible I am for the seekers of adult entertainment.

I receive links from my gf in Chicago and I send links to my gf in Chicago. Advertising is important to me.

I obviously have to pay for my dot com. I list at as many free sites as possible, and pay for advertising at times. It depends on which one I choose out of the hat. I cannot afford to pay for all of them simultaneously.

I have in the past six months paid at
Sophie's outcall http://www.outcall.net/listings/nyupstate.shtml
CityVibe http://eroticservices.cityvibe.com/e...list&city=2680
and Escort Introductions http://www.escortintroductions.com/i...review_profile

Sophie's has always been very good to me. (thank you!!) She allows for free listings and paid listings. I pay for advertising there to show my appreciation when I am able to. She is, in fact, a role model of mine. :-)

Cityvibe is hit and miss for me, but I have gained clientele over the years from there.

Unfortunately, I have had no luck at the Escort Intro site, even though I paid.

My theory is websites change and traffic to them changes. What may not have been good before may be good today.

As I inferred in my original post, this everclassify, http://afterdark.everclassify.com is the e first I have seen of the CL, BP type of setup that I feel clearly identifies its desire to separate the adult advertisement section. I have a lot of respect for people who try to keep the adult areas for adults only.

The net is crazy and filled with access to adult sites. I even pay for RTA. (Restricted to Adults) http://www.rtalabel.org/ This prevents my dot com from showing up as easily on a web search when the settings of the search is set to higher restriction/more filtering/ family safe. So what if I lose business over that? To me, it's the right thing to do since I insist on living in the world of Adult Entertainment.

I will continually wish new sites luck with their endeavors. I hope that some of my references to websites along the way has given both ladies, and men alike, great informative places to click!! ;-)

I like Sophies too Elizabeth, I get hits from there. Actually need to update..

Cityvibe just steals my ads and places them for me and I cant even get them deleted.. oy

I just signed up on that yamzy.com so we will see how that turns out.. Its coming up high in the SEO ranks.

Ever- just get the site high in the SEO ranks and it should be smooth sailing from there. SEO is Extremely important. It will take some time for the crawl to push you up in the ranks. Are you back linked in some places? That helps. All the activity in this post and people looking is driving up your ranks.

I personally like its clean looking without all the flash banners and crap all over.. and you have a blog, Im a blog fan.

Is all this scrambling the result of the e.com departure?

Were you ever on e.com Lynn?

Think that was before your time.

If you hit the old link you get this message:

This Domain is Not in Use

Seems like someone ought to buy it - from the F.B.I. ?

Outcall.net is such a completely unattractive site.

Can't believe some of the people up there though; Jenavet and Joyce?

Need a time machine.

The various whois searches show that R S duffy has 61 sites registered. If it is just a few bucks a year to keep it on a server somewhere I wonder if they will with the hope that the heat will go away from it.
I do agree that it is great that they have seperate the adult entertainment from the rest... but until it gets more volume/traffic it isn't a tool that I am willing to pay or take advantage of a free ad.

To me, if I saw all of a sudden an increase in traffic/posting etc.... then maybe I would do the trial free ad. But right now it's not a bang for my buck.... or more so worth posting an ad to have next to none traffic from it.

I will however, keep it in mind and watch to see if it grows and becomes a tool that might be useful. After all we know since e.com things have been much different with the biz aspect.
