+1 to what Omahan said. Ladies who don't screen are low hangin fruit for LE.

99% of agencies don't give references. So, my opinion would be not to start with an agency.

P411 is a good way to get started. There are always different ways to screen a newbie. You just have to find a lady who is newbie friendly and willing to go the extra mile to get you screened.

My suggestion to you is this......Find the type of lady you wish to see, read the reviews on her and then give her a call or email and ask if she's newbie friendly.

I had a hard time getting in to the hobby as well.

I finally talked a girl into it by offering to send her a cash donation that she could use up before meeting. I figured I was risking a whole hell of a lot more than the donation and that arrangement protected me as well since no cash would be presented at the meeting. Anyway, she was convinced and didn't make me send the money. We met and had a great time.

I waited way too long to do it again to use her for a reference but I did finally find a very reluctant provider with tons of great reviews who I felt comfy divulging some personal info to so she could really search me out and determine I was not LE.

I've found most of the girls I've met to actually be nice girls. Professionals. I was afraid they might be a bunch of scammers and stuff like that. I've had no drama from any of them. The worst I get is texts mid afternoon telling me I'm being "dreamed of", LOL! The point is that if you find one of these ladies with a great rep you can probably let her check you out some and not have to worry about her messin you up.

In all actuality that doesn't protect you at all. You still exchanged money, just ahead of time. LE could still have arrested you.

Well I'm a Military man. Cursed with terminal shyness and of course looking like a cop. I don't really want P411 calling the Army to verify anything. Military law is a lot less forgiving that civilian and you need a lot less proof of anything to get in trouble. Just need to find the right girl to give me my big break. Hell I can show ID. Wonder if i can get a discount like at Home Depot?

I have been able to adequately screen military men in the past so your profession does not create a big stumbling block.

be careful and make sure you have an appt set.... because if you dont have an appt she will automatically assume your are hers and if you dont follow thru you could end up being on a SG's do not see list which is about 90% of us on this board!!
Hell Ive never seen her and never had an appt and Im on there now!!
