True enough. But an NCNS is more likely to come at a financial cost to the provider than it is to us. Also, we can choose to be more selective in who we see. A provider often relies on little more than a client's experience with 1, maybe 2 providers - and the client gets to choose which 1 or 2 experiences she gets to hear about.

I wouldn't pay a deposit to anyone who has a sketchy reputation. Or anyone who has little to no reputation. But an established provider with a solid reputation? I'd have no problem with it.
