It won't be Michelle. She's not interested and is making more money with what she's doing now (including a stupid podcast).
Harris is a bad call-- she's far too moderate and Biden will lose the entire contingency of "Bernie Bros" if he goes that route. He has a tenuous hold on the majority of the "Anyone but Trump" who came from the far left side of the party. Heck-- I'm a moderate and I don't like Harris.
Pre-COVID... Whitmer looked like the most likely and logical choice. But post COVID-- I'm not so sure anymore. Same can be said for Lance-Bottoms.
Had he not quasi-committed to choosing a "woman of color"... Duckworth might have been a good choice. Yeah, nobody knew who she was.. but I didn't know who the hell Pence was-- and I live one state over. At the very least, she's far less milquetoast than Pence.
