Don't get too comfortable. Either the outgoing chief or the incoming chief might come down hard on spas in the next few months. If either one wants an easy "win" to finish or start their tenure, spas are the low hanging fruit of the law enforcement world.

I would take EITHER an increased commitment to resolving Domestic Violence cases or to resolving the huge backlog of murders. If they spent less time fucking around playing Jack Bauer and more time processing evidence and rape kits, they might actually be able to put a dent in it.

They need to get it in their thick fucking skulls they're not meant to be the last action hero, they're meant to be (in theory) civil employees and need to be stripped down until they remember that.

It's a vicious circle. Witnesses don't cooperate, perpetrators continue perpetrating, and Cops say ''to Hell with this, I'm not sticking my neck out''..
