The 25 points the Cowboys gave up yesterday is a huge improvement. They came into the game as the 5th worst defense in NFL history, for points allowed in as many games.

The Cowboys have 4 starting OL down and starting their third string QB. The hit on Dalton was dirty, yet no Dallas player got into the face of the defender.

This is what happens when you spend all your money on offense and none on defense, then the half of the starting offense is out due to injuries.

They only gave up 25 points because Washington sucks on offense. And, so does the NYG, who before they played Dallas, averaged 10 points a game on offense and scored 34 against the Cowboys.

They really should be winless.

The only way that Dallas will win another game this season is to play the way they did against Minnesota. Elliot has to get 100 yards rushing. The backup linemen are not good at pass protection. Dallas will not win by having Dalton or Gilbert drop back and pass the ball 50 times a game. Dallas has good receivers and tight ends, due to injuries they don't have the offensive line for a strong passing game. Seven wins could win the eastern divison. The way the cowboys played against Washington, I don't see Dallas getting 7 wins, they already have 8 losses.
