I have no interest in furthering this drama on a board that is supposed to be a respectful place for discourse and provider reviews, but I do have an obligation to share the truth (with new details that came to light yesterday evening) before exiting the scene of this thread for good.Nicely stated
First, the fact remains that I was well within my rights to cancel or attempt to reschedule my appointment with Briella, as I did so beyond her required minimum 12-hour cancellation window. I didn't even have to give her a reason, but did out of kindness and an attempt to be courteous.
Second, no one except Briella has the right to view the contents of a private conversation between Briella and myself. The fact that she shared our exchange with at least one other person, however, calls into question her public claims (i.e. on her Tryst profile) about being opposed to drama and being a discrete individual.
Third, and this one comes directly from the source's pretty mouth when I saw her last night, Katie did not reach out to me because of Briella, contrary to popular belief. Rather, Katie saw the original e-mail I sent her at the end of March when I first tried to reach out to her, long before I met or even started talking to Briella, but was dealing with health concerns at the time and could not respond to my message. If anything, Briella only reminded Katie of my communication with her, but Katie had plans to reach out to me all along and told me that Briella was not involved here. I still appreciate the favor Briella did for me in reminding Katie to reach out to me, don't get me wrong, but it seems it does not bare as much weight as originally believed.
I am not out here to bash anyone, and I'm glad someone else enjoyed their time with Briella in my place yesterday. I am sure she will continue to be a great provider, just as she was when I met her last week. It is unfortunate that things have turned out this way, all because of a simple cancellation with valid, justifiable reasons. But I cannot control how Briella wishes to treat her clients, nor do I wish to demean her for the choices she has made, nor can I control how others on this forum respond to these posts; I can only control how I choose to respond, and I have already responded in the best way I know how, by apologizing to Briella the other day for any wrongdoing or hurt feelings that occurred, and by attempting to do my best to bring the truth to light on this thread. As it says in Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." If Briella and I ever reconnect or if she'll one day accept my apology for how I seemingly upset her over this situation, that's awesome, and if not, that's alright as well. Regardless, I wish her the best and continued happiness for her and her clientele, and am excited to meet and review other great providers in Rochester, NY and engage in civil discourse on ECCIE Worldwide.
