Epicurious Goes Woke: Halts beef recipes to be more "Pro-Planet"

Impossible burgers taste like burgers made by a space alien who decided to make them in a star-trek like replicator based on what people told him it tastes like.

People who say that shit tastes and has the same texture as beef must smoke a lot of cigarettes or do other things to destroy their taste buds.

They have a constitutional right to publish what the desire within certain bounds (libel,etc.) They are not required to publish what an individual or group wishes. The market will determine if their model succeeds financially.

No one is REQUIRED to read their content or choose to solely utilize their recipes that defer beef, just as no one is REQUIRED to eat beef.

I like beef, will still eat beef, and won't be subscribing to Epicurious, but may use one of their online recipes for taters or good veggies. That's my choice.

Those who like to expose their constitutional rights also need to recognize that those same rights extend to others, even if of different opinion.

See, the point is you can eat beef if you want, or you can choose to not eat beef if you want. Same goes for broccoli, anchovies, sushi, etc. Cooking magazines can choose to focus on whatever recipe types they choose. No one is FORCING you to eat any ingredient or read or cook any recipe. It's your choice, but NOT your RIGHT to force your view on others. Why not let the MARKET decide? Don't buy Epicurious if you choose(I won't)..others may choose otherwise, but that's their prerogative, not yours to dictate.
