It's a solo game if you care about yourself. I've heard about guys getting fucked over from sharing with another guy, and I can personally attest to the drama associated with talking with a provider about almost anything. I don't even like hearing their woes let alone their drama.

Charli Knox gave me the best advice, "If I start talking too much, just put your dick in my mouth"

I do miss the socials and the poker nights sometimes, but we all probably have bad memories of those too.
This is an interesting subject .... and from what I've heard from my clients it's about 50 / 50.
I've had dudes refer other dudes to me ... and some guys who talk about conversing about the hobby.
Others just want to stay quiet about it and not share their "secret life".

What I've learned recently .... is that we mature providers have united in a positive way and hang out, share stories, laugh and have a good time.
A bit different than it was years ago. I know us gals are in a different position than the typical hobbyist and I guess it just is what it is.
Society doesn't normally accept this activity when you're supposedly living the "normal" life.

I can understand why some hobbyist shy away from sharing this life activity.
The SO .... or friends WOULD NOT be so understanding.

Maybe it all depends on the crowd you choose to hang with, your occupation and/or JOB buddies.

One thing about the ASPD socials ... it was apparent the hobbyist got to know each other and created friendships with whom they could share this world.

my secret only!
Interesting thread. By happenstance, the owner of the company I worked for and I both discovered that we each hobby at the same time. Several overnights swapping two ladies and a couple of dp's resulted. Not to mention job security that I didn't really need.
I hear you man. I’m pretty social by nature so I do alright anyways, but I see no issue goin to a strip club and shootin the shit with a fellow monger. No need to be best friends or anything lol.

I had some coworkers who knew what I was up to, even had one join the board. Just recently he called me asking for recommendations in a different area. I called a recommended provider, vouched for him, helped him avoid paying a deposit

I’m not new to the hobby but new to the DFW. Hard to figure out where to start.
I'm definitely a loner in this hobby.
Learned my lesson years ago in the real world. Had a one night stand and told a good friend. Come to find out he wanted to get with my SO, and ran back and told her.
Backfired on him tho. She wanted nothing to do with him, and he lost me as a friend. We worked it out and stayed together another 8 years. But I definitely learned to keep my life private after that.

I used to vent or share my hobby adventures with my mother, but sadly, she has passed.

No one to respond to, “Ma, I want some meatloaf...Now Ma, meatloaf, I want it now!...Ooh, I paid to bang a black chick today...Meatloaf, now Ma!”
