Try putting yourself in her shoes. One hour notice is not enough. She may have had other potential "dates" she had to say no to because she was depending on you to keep your date. She also may have been counting on the money she anticipated getting from you. And who knows, she may have had to arrange a babysit if she has kids. And if that was the case, she still has to pay the babysitter.
