Right on typhoon! I’m sure each city’s response will be different too.
How many of you will stop writing reviews? How many of us will stop AMP’ing?
For me, I will postpone reviews for a bit to see what happens. Stop AMP’ing, nope!! Running to Houston to AMP it up this weekend! … just in case!!
Are Houston AMP's as good as Dallas AMP's?
What flavors of ladies are available in
H-town ?
+1 Agyn Amps will adjust and circumvent the law. How? Time will tell.
@ Naughty. Lots of spas in Houston. Columbian, Russian, Thai, Latina etc. Do your homework because geographically it’s a lot of ground to cover. FS can be found for 100 and up. With so many spas, bad service is a potential especially with the Asian spa. Imho.
Great info AmpRat.
Thanks.
Would love to find a nice russian massage place. Amprat got me all twitching now. Lol
Buying a hand-job is now Felonoius - This is a sad day indeed, and by a Liberal Democrat as well.
All this talk about ATF and regulars is nonsense - they rotate in and out so often and the AMP are ripe low hanging fruit to make headlines. It's now sadly a fools errand - watching Texas become an Authoritarian state run by the righteous is not fun at all. This legislation scares the crap put of me as it will be politically impossible to repeal....so long hobby.
SA beefed up the massage ordinance in '18 and I expected a wave of raids afterward, but nothing happened. Could be ditto for the bolstered state law, lots of theory but little practice. The risk is the same, just has a bigger bite if you roll snake eyes.
Licensed professionals beware - getting busted will wreck your career....this is really bad legislation targeting the wrong people. You want to sting traffickers they should go under cover and sting the networks not the simple hobbyists. This will ensnare a LOT of people that do not belong doing time or having careers and families destroyed because of a simple happy ending. Oh wait, the rich will get off....with a nice fine and political donation. The rest will get hammered.
@JimCracksCorn I agree with the low hanging fruit. But it's way easier for them to setup in a hotel and post an ad then it would to be to catch a guy in a spa. I believe that and street walkers. Unless they catch you in the act, it's just too hard to prove. There are too many questions that we will just have to wait and see what happens.
Personally, I will continue to spa as usual. I won't be seeing anyone in a hotel! I suspect cameras will be installed in the front and back of each spa for the spas that don't already have them. A spa with no backdoor with be an advantage now.
Human trafficking...that is a laugh! A girl making $200K a year is not trafficked! She wants to be there.
Good thread, agree with everything said here.
@Typhoon63 - absolutely accurate. The cops are going after the girls not the clients. Was in the old China Rose AMP way back in 2013/14 (I think) when it got raided...was on the table when I heard them come in. Put on my clothes, showed some ID at the door and out I went with surprisingly little hassle. They didn't ask me about any activities or anything.
@Timhardin - also remember those raids in '18. Bunch of shutdowns then everything opened back up a few months later and now we've got twice as many spas as before.
@DinkerPinker84 - exactly right, it's very tough to nail a guy at an AMP unless they happen to catch you IN THE ACT, which is highly unlikely. And agree, although I'm sure there is some trafficking going on in some cases, with all the money these women are making, they *want* to be there to pay off their debts or what not.
Amps are comparatively safe (compared to hotel rooms or strange homes, etc)...which is why we use them...much more risk for the worker than the monger.
Damn, thats kind of scary....Im thinking let the girl make the first move and just do the head nod thing and dont "negotiate". With the regulars there is never any "soliciting". Hell, the minute you give me a shower and wash my junk its on like donkey kong.
The more I think about it the more I think DinkerPinker is right. AMP's will be safer. The law changes but I don't think they will go after anyone. But if they catch you, you will be charged with a felony. The burden of proof is still on them. If they wanted to now they could charge you and drag you thought the courts knowing full well you would get off but by then, the damage is done.
The guys that don't know about the change in the law will be in for a surprise when that street walker they try to pick up is a cop or that hot 19yo you going to meet at the stop-n-fuck motel turns out to be a room full of cops.
You guys be safe.
This site (and the "other one") are your best defense against undercover police. Think about it: the first guy who gets popped at an amp or a provider is going to come right here and let everybody know about (right? you guys will, won't you?). Every place and provider here is so heavily reviewed that you are probably pretty safe. For the cops to have to think up a brand new way of busting johns, it's most likely too much work for them. Be cautious about new places and providers until you see a bunch of reviews, is my take.
The only flaw with the "you guys will let us know if you get popped" thing is that if they are arrested by the police you will most likely be in custody until the sting is over. They can legally hold you for 24 hours before they have to either release you or charge you with a crime. They can wait 23.9 hours and charge you with your crime, thus keeping you in custody longer. By the time any of us could notify you we will well be on the way to being displayed on a news outlet's website while they will have a story run about how the new law is working.
