I checked a little more. They did pass a law in 2019 which is very vague and has projections into the future. Some people are claiming this law will outlaw firewood in oct 2022. I didnt see that in the law, but with these assholes in charge it probably wont be far down the road. Every time they come up with one of these asinine laws, I wonder what the fuck is next, well...

The reality is that the political blowback on that would not be worth it. It’s window dressing for the radicals to be appeased.

The point is that it is all political theater. It would never happen. But in these times, politicians believe they need to play to the extremes on both sides, which sucks.
