I suspect the “thought” process goes something like:

I honestly think of Lacey as some kind of interesting experiment that a psychology grad student at Pitt would carry out if there were certain ethical guidelines that could be curtailed.

For example, conduct a study where hetero men are allowed to have a date with Lacey and then another less-attractive and plumper female who has a much more pleasant demeanor, and then crunch the data about how they feel overall about their sexual satisfaction between the two women.

It would really give us insights into the male sexual drive and mental process involved
