That's interesting. I haven't heard that before but I'm not disputing that some of the Kurds may feel that way. I haven't been back to Iraq since 2006 so things could certainly have changed in how they view things.

Without divulging too much of my business...it was post 2006 when the draw down decision was in progress. Not to get off topic, but I think that if the Kurds could start a personal little country up there and keep to themselves it would be fine by them.

Cheney's attitude and interaction with Rove and the boys spoke greater volumes than words, so i am not surprised he made such a statement. I feel he has the same attitude towards the average American also. I believe we are lucky to have had Obama come in behind these guys to salvage some integrity with the rest of the World, and History will reflect this.
