You realize that 'free speak' means jack shit on a private platform. Twitter (even now, and after Elon buys it), ECCIE, facebook, etc, are private platforms. You can be banned by those who are in control of it at THEIR discretion. The right to free speech only goes so far as to protect you on a PUBLIC forum. You can have a loudspeaker and a sign outside of a government office, or in a public park, but you are only allowed to do this in a private space (in a privately owned building, private land, internet site) at the discretion of the owner of that private forum.


So if Elon buys twitter, he'll be able to do whatever he wants, say whatever he wants, ban whoever he wants, because it is his private forum. Likewise, Twitter was 100% in their right (they had the right to do it) to ban Trump, as well as ban disinformation at their leisure.



So when Elon is now the new owner of Twitter, watch out to see people getting deleted there if they give him bad publicity. Nothing has changed, except instead of a group of people leading it and making decisions, it will be one guy, who is more or less, a celebrity who games the market based off of his own publicity. And as Salty noted - there was no free speech for conservatives from the corrupt libtard regime that had been running Twitter. But there was Twitter working actively to rig elections for Senile Biden and other libtards by suppression of real news. So it really can't get any worse and anything Musk does will be for the better.

It's not like one should fear that Elon Musk could undermine the ideological diversity, equity and inclusion at Twitter which currently maintains a careful balance of 98.7% for one side.

The first amendment was never enforced on twitter because it was a private forum. That's why Trump was banned from it.
The first amendment still doesn't need to be enforced on twitter when Elon owns it, because it is still a private forum.


CAN free speech be allowed on a private forum? Yes, absolutely. Does it need to be? No.


Ask yourself this, is the Government silencing you from talking in public? If yes, they are violating your first amendment right. But Twitter is not public.

If that’s the case, they need stripped of the legal protections they’re granted as a free and open platform.

Corporations being forced to support the liberal agenda is a problem. The fact that Twitter censored anything going against anything liberal is scary because many people unfortunately use social media as their only source of news. I think this is fantastic for the citizens of this country who have been solely exposed to liberal propaganda. As a side note… I’m also glad to see Florida push back at Disney! We all have different beliefs and are entitled to our opinions but there has been way too much information being labeled as dangerous or misinformation lately.
