I guess being from Dallas-- where sometimes guys travel 40-50 miles to see a provider... I just chuckle a little when guys gasp at the thought of 8 miles. I get it, though-- Cincinnati has the same issues if you need to go from east to west or into Kentucky. Originally Posted by Grace PrestonYou hit the nail on the head. Look at Cranberry. Pretty convenient drive for most, easy parking and lot of hotel and restaurant options.Originally Posted by Charley3
I used to live in Dallas (Deep Ellum) and sometimes 8 miles could take an hour depending on the time of day.Looking at you profile and links, I think you'll make lots of friends in Pittsburgh no matter where you stay.
But it's the same way in Minneapolis lol. Everyone has a complaint with regards to incall location. You're either too far into the city, you're not north enough for the St. Cloud, Maple Grove, Plymouth fellas, or you're north of the 494 loop. Suffice to say it's always something.
I know this is kind of undiplomatic to say but when you've had blue collar clients like welders, farmers, firefighters, etc., drive 2 hours, 6 hours, or 8 hours one way, or fly to your city to meet you I also just laugh when clients will automatically cut someone off because their location isn't convenient enough or is a 2 hour drive round-trip. In the same breath, I get it because when I lived in Dallas, I had a 75 mile commute one way. Originally Posted by PaigeSavage
