Dee,
Both grills on the holiday weekend.
Brisket, pork ribs and lamb ribs
Burgers (Angus), dogs, and sausage

But, just pulled a 10 pound brisket off the grill a few minutes ago.
So.....

I had someone suggest Rosedale BBQ. Any thoughts? Originally Posted by hounddog

I assume they just missed the cut on the magazine article.

Just around the corner from Q39 and Manny's so I get distracted.

If you actually have time next you're local...
Only a couple have met ECG so far.
But, we'll be spending most of summer in west kansas, after the July horse shows.

I’m think narrowing a list of best BBQ in KC.is impossible. Plus we all have our favorites. Frankly I think Jack Stacks and Joe’s are extremely over rated. Slaps is great. Two other big favorites of mine are Smoking Gun and RJ’s. But it’s all personal opinion. The BBQ is Omaha is getting better but mine from my back yard is still the best,

When the watermelon smash is ready.
One watermelon (that's been in fridge 2 days)
One 750 bottle of Jose Cuervo and other ingredients,
Two scoops shaved ice
One large ice cold pitcher
Cut top off watermelon
Scoop out about half into pitcher.
Use blender to shread what's left in watermelon while slowly adding tequila and ice chips.
Use blender to shred watermelon scoops in pitcher while adding rest of tequila and ice.
Add straws to watermelon,
or pour into glasses from pitcher.

I ordered ahead for the 4th of July. They were open from 11 AM to 5 PM mostly for pickup orders. I had three huge boxes ready at noon, enough for 15 people. The big surprise was that they had a huge special on full slabs of ribs. I couldn't resist ordering extra. I look forward to having some leftover ribs for dinner tonight.

Just my opinion, but I don't believe in going to a BBQ place that is run by a guy who studied French cooking.
Yall need to try Wolfepack BBQ at Callsign Brewing up in the northland, 14th and Burlington, he's only open thur, Fri, and sat but it's fantastic
