I never send a deposit. The only exception is when aprovider is traveling long distance. One provider I used to see would drive 90 miles. I would advance her $30 for gas. The other tike was when a provider and I worked out a deal for a Hawaii trip. I paid for her airfare.

There are way too many who are willing to show up and get the hard cash.

Certainly appreciate the post...reminds of why you never never prepay.
