^^For example.

Fact of the matter is that the black community ~needs~ voices like her’s. Their culture of fatherlessness, gangs, etc is why they’re not doing well. Someone has to have some integrity, and it sure as hell isn’t the current crop of black “leaders” who only blame the man and completely lack introspection.

Of course there will be a visceral reaction by many, but her perspectives on blacks are still dead on accurate. My old man, and the nuns/Franciscans in high school, called it tough love. Originally Posted by Jacuzzme

You're (and she is) completely ignoring the systemic issues that lead black people to be born into poverty, violence, gang life, etc in the first place. It's a vicious cycle.

Study up on the systemic concept of "red lining", for example. It's real easy for white folks born into the middle class (or better) to point fingers but, facts are facts, not everyone is given the same opportunities in this life. If they were, black people would be right there en masse with white folks in their triumphs and struggles. White folks would also have plenty of poverty, **** issues, gang life, etc, if the floor was truly the same for everyone.

Look at West Virginia, for example. Is their rampant poverty **** the fault of black people too? Lol. Race has exactly ZERO to do with it. It's opportunity.

OK, I'm going with MSNBC here.

Joe and John.

The first brain damaged ticket, supported by all the "Ableists" on the left.

Their campaign will be run from wheelchairs using Steven Hawkings robot speech synthesizers.

Bullshit, this isn’t 1925. Blacks have every opportunity as anyone else, at times more so. My oldest got rejected from her first choice masters program with a near perfect gpa and impressive employment/volunteer resume because of her skin color. Asians have it even worse.

Owens is an outspoken advocate of an easy recipe to stay out of poverty, which works almost every time it’s tried. The prescription is to finish high school, get a job, get married, then have babies, in that order. Do you think the black community would be better or worse off by taking her advice?

And yes, this is absolutely on topic.

Well, its apparent that if we just stopped "White Supremacy", Bidens biggest named problem, that murders would drop in the black community.

At least by the 1 percent that is white on black crime.

Todays Headlines in the trib?

Guns don't kill people, Taco Bell kills people.

I think Owens has a voice in any administration- but likely not as a place-holder for an elected spot- I don't think she has enough pull from both sides to be elected- she is polarizing and that may find some fans', I think she's likely to turn off just as many as she turns on.

I would also think that to be similar to Gabbard, despite her being what I think is a fairly mainstream personality (and she's kinda hot), but I think again- not electable, but certainly could have a place in any administration.

Picks for GOP-
DeSantis-P, McCarthy-VP

Picks for DEM
Potus--- ?? Klobuchar VP

GOP: DeSantis / to soon to determine VP - because while Trump did a tremendous job as President, he will be 78 in 2024 which is too old. Plus DeSantis will be an even more effective Trump

Libs: Lets go with the MSNBC combo of Biden/Fetterman - because who wouldn't want two senile idiots who can't communicate in charge

I’m wondering if Trump could actually find a running mate or fill a cabinet. You talk about political suicide.

It won't matter who runs as an R, they will be the next Antichrist, friend of Russia, or whatever the D's can falsely claim and have the FBI back them up.
Well, when you allow your cult leader to run roughshod all over the Constitution for 4 years and never do anything to reign him in, resulting in him trying to overthrow a free and fair election, then overthrow his own government, your party doesn't really deserve to be trusted.

Republicans deserve everything they get in that regard. When they start running with candidates who actually respect the rule of law again, maybe they can begin to turn that reputation around.
