Not another manscaping thread!?

Electric shaver. I have not had a blade on my face in 50 years. Today is my 67th birthday. I figured that would work down below. My Norelco cut me a couple of times, pulls the hair, etc. I use a three blade disposable now. Do it in the shower, soak the area and lather well. Get a decent erection or semi erection so you can shave the base of the shaft also. Pull the skin tight on your gonads and just shave. This should work out fine for you. After the first couple of times you will not feel any after effects.

Combination of badbottom's suggestions and Braun System 5 electric razor for "maintenance" works well for me. New blades are soooo important. And daily maintenance is a good habit to get into. My ex-SO tried manscaping me but used the same strokes as shaving her legs so I was a bit "tore up" afterwards. Lesson learned.

i stopped shaving the whole area just gets too itchy and i have to wait a week to do it again so i went to using a body groomer and i only shave the rod now.

Not going to use a blade on me! I use a hair depilatory made for face or head. It is gentle enough to not burn.

An electric razor eh? You's a bad mo-fo!! As you well know "now", an electric razor will tear your ass up. I am sitting here just cracking up thinking about that, the only thing worse could have been dousing it with alcohol to stop the pain. I am laughing with you, not at you, as I did the same thing when I started manscaping.

I have since found that Bikini Zone (found at W-mart) works really well. A "dancer" friend told me to use 3 or 4 blade razors. I have found Mach 3's to be good. No after shave unless you like the smell. (see alcohol comment above)

I have been shaving for over 20 years now so it has become pretty easy for me. Hell, I can skip the Bikini Zone and get away with "soap" in a pinch.... can shave the boys and sing at the same time, lol. The itching will stop after about the 3rd time and maintenance is pretty easy.

... now shaving the "taint" and the crack of your ass????, now THAT is a whole nother thread!!!

God gave mankind Gillette Fusion 4-blade razors for this purpose. No nicks, no cuts, just smoothie goodness.

A Brazillian?! Ah HELL NAH! I got my back waxed once and ain't no way I'd do that to mah goobies!

Believe it or not, a brazilian LASER HAIR REMOVAL hurts a HELL of a lot less than a brazilian wax job. And you only need it 7-8 times and then you NEVER have to shave again.

I had started doing a manzilian (waxing, front all the way around to the backdoor) but then learned about sugar scrub .... yes, waxing is painful but any manly man should be able to stand the pain but sugaring is much less painful, its gets more of the folicle, and you end up with little to no burning or itching, and you repeat when you want, preference is every 4-5 weeks ... I pay $80.00 to $125.00 depending on where I go, and I highly recommend this if you are looking for that baby soft skin.

What kind of place does this! I would much prefer somebody else to trim me up. It's a lot of work. I'd pay to save me the trouble. Besides they could probably make it look better.

Use a regular razor...two to three blade. You have more control that way, especially over the speed of the razors going over your...tenders.... Originally Posted by Ghostdncer

2 and 3 blade razors are not the way to go! I use a 3 blade razor to shave my face and I used it the first couple of times to shave my nuts but after 3 or 4 nicks I tried my wife's 5 blade razor (link below) and since then haven't nicked myself once. That is good since I do it very quickly (usually less than a minute to shave front to back) every morning after my morning shower.

I use a ladies 5 blade disposable razor which puts the blades closer together so they glide over even the loosest of skin with out nicking my nuts. That way I don't have to stretch my nuts out to the point where they hurt the next day to get the skin tight enough to shave.

I always take a very warm shower first taking my time to let my nuts warm up and soak. When I am done washing my body and hair I then lather up with shaving cream good. I then shave everything making sure to clean the razor clean since the close blades clog easily. When I am done with my shower the next key is to put Ingrown Hair Serum that my wife gets when she waxes. That stuff will leave you completely bump free even if you shave every day like I do.

I normally only use a razor for a week or 7 shaves before replacing it with a new one.
